Finally an 'Up' Teaser


Disney/Pixar has finally released a teaser for Pixar's next film, 'Up'. Watch it here. Turn UP your volume to get the full effect.

The old man in the teaser is Carl, a 78-year-old man who married his childhood sweetheart and failed in his promise to show her the world. She's since passed away and 'the man' is threating to take his home away. The magic in the story begins when a nine-year old boy takes him on an journey around the world to see an array of fantastical sights and adventures.

The director, Pete Doctor (Director of 'Monsters Inc.') says in short: "Pixar takes you to a lost world, Its a love story and it’s a Pixar movie."

Lasseter Helps Produce Disney's "Bolt"

Disney Animation's next movie this November is "Bolt". Not a Pixar film, but this movie about a Hollywood dog-actor is being produced by John Lasseter. He also was executive producer to "Meet the Robinsons" AintItCool.com (a long time group of movie reviewers) has got an in with Disney to shadow Lasseter once a month on this movie until it's release in November. Here's the first of their meetings with Lasseter.

John Lasseter is Pixar's first animator back in the day when Ed Catmull and Alvy Ray Smith were revolutionizing computer animation. He brought to life story telling with computer animation. He's now Pixar's Chief Creative Officer and Disney's Chief Creative Advisor and has been termed as a reincarnation of the original Walt Disney.

How Influential Wall-E Really Is:


I stumbled upon an article about a woman who cried watching the first teaser to Wall-E the end of last year. Sounds crazy I know, but start here and read this woman's blog posts as well. She made contact with Pixar that I only dream about.
